Mexico City to San Miguel de Allende: About 3h30 by Road

Plan on about 3h30. That's our usual time from Mexico City's international airport to the moon door on Jesús 17, in the historic center. It's a long drive after a flight, which is why we recommend doing it with our SUV transportation partner rather than piecing it together yourself.

Is Mexico City the right airport? Often it's the one with the best international flights, and that's a fair reason to choose it. But if a connection to Querétaro (about 1h20 from us) or Bajío (about 1h40) works, you'll save around two hours on the road and arrive with more of the day left.

Arriving early or late. Check-in is at 3:00 pm and check-out at 12:00 pm. Tell us your arrival time and we'll make every effort to have your suite ready early; if it isn't, we'll store your luggage securely. Coming in late after the drive? We hold booked rooms until 6:00 am the day after your check-in date, and our staff are at the hotel 24/7.
